We had been recommended to go to Short Street Store for breakfast and we were very pleased that we did.The breakfast was great, juices were freshly squeezed and the coffee was excellent (and I am a self confessed coffee snob).Would definitely recommend! This cosy little gem of a cafe is hidden away in a quiet residential street. It has a lovely rustic vibe and is very welcoming.We sat outside in the patio area and enjoyed the beautiful Dubbo sunshine with our meal.The highlight was my daughter’s breakfast. She received the best babyccino I’ve seen in my life, complete with a marshmallows smile. If her eating is anything to go by the children’s pancakes were delicious. We tried both the sweet and savoury options. If you have a sweet tooth look no further than the Frenchy Boys toast, a perfect combination of sweet and sour. It’s a light and yummy french toast, topped with whipped cream and a delightful passionfruit compote. Though a little too sweet for me I enjoyed my bite. I had the brekkie burger with added hash brown. It was both filling and tasty.
