Arirang Korean Barbecue opened in Perth, WA in 1999. Created by the Yu family who emigrated to Perth in search of a better life with the simple idea and passion to bring their love of Korean food and culture to Australia. This was the beginning of WA’s first Korean Barbecue Restaurant! 18 years later Arirang Korean Barbecue continues to serve a mix of traditional Korean dishes and modern fusion. Arirang’s focus is in serving authentic Korean dishes such as Bibimbap, Bulgogi, Kimchi as well as modern street food such as Korean Fried Chicken, Cupbap and Ramen using locally sourced and fresh produce.

HKBBQ was opened in 1997, located on Francis street in Northbridge, and is one of the proven top Chinese restaurant in Perth. We are well-known for our BBQ pork and roast duck. In order to provide better dinning environment and to serve more customers, we had renovated in 2009 with a second floor extention. Our flagship location at 86 King is nestled in a heritage listed building with frontage on both King and Wellington St. Having first opened doors for trading in May 2014 to fill a serious void in the Perth BBQ scene, the venue has evolved over the years and has been under the proprietorship of the current owner, Rob Paolucci, since 2017. You might notice around the premises a comic book theme, owing to the artistic talents of Rob himself. After many renovations, a change of hands and a global pandemic, Old Faithful has evolved into the premier venue it is today.
