Just Toast , Coconut Bircher Chia Pudding , Buttermilk Pancake , Almond French Toast , Krimper Burger , Roasted Pumpkin & Quinoa Salad , Chicken Karaage Burger.
The design concept behind Krimper was to allow the history of the building define its own character and tell its own story. While this sounds simple and easy, nothing could be further from the truth.
The interior design uses minimal lighting against water-blasted brick wall and Japanese-stained ply creates the sense of a warm and welcoming hearth. The café tables and chairs are made from recycled lift doors and old timber pieces that were obtained on site. The dis-used, 100-year-old lift car and mechanical wheels are used to recreate an inside dining booth, which has become a key feature of the café and the space area.

Patricia Coffee Brewers is owned and run by best mates Bowen Holden and Pip Heath. The name Patricia comes from their respective grandmothers (both sadly no longer with us) and is meant as a warm tribute to two amazing women who have been very influential in their lives. Upon opening in December 2011, we were excited to showcase our favourite Melbourne coffee roasters, including Seven Seeds, Market Lane, Small Batch, Proud Mary, Everyday, Blume, Friends and others. In 2016 we started roasting our own coffee at Bureaux, gaining us even more of a connection with our product, as well as more control over the way it tastes. These days in store we serve our own seasonal espresso blend (the ‘Patricia Blend’) and filter coffees, while continuing to offer guest coffees alongside these to keep things interesting and stay in touch with those great roasters that we love.

Mark & Bridget were some of the first to break away from the Italian coffee roasting style in Melbourne. Seven Seeds on Berkeley St, Carlton was born in 2007 initially to roast coffee for Brother Baba Budan established a few years earlier, with Seven Seeds developing into a cafe-roastery model. The goal was simple – to source directly and explore the best brewing practices. Carlton was bursting at the seams, so a dedicated roastery & HQ was established in 2016. We’ve come a long way, but remain rooted in the sustainable principles that guide the decisions we make.

Brunetti began trading at the Faraday street location in 1985. The Angelé family acquired the business in 1991 and transformed the lovely café that it was into a truly authentic Roman Pasticceria. The Angelé family comes equipped with a wealth of knowledge and experience in Pastry and Cafés. The founder, Mr Giorgio Angelé began his training in Rome at the ripe age of 10. In 1956, at the age 23, Giorgio came to Australia with the Italian Olympic team as a pastry chef. After working for a few years, Giorgio was then given the opportunity to migrate to Australia permanently.
