Dr Sharad Shetty is an Interventional Cardiologist based in Western Australia. He is a Consultant Cardiologist and Director of Cardiology training at Fiona Stanley Hospital and a consultant Cardiologist at Hollywood Private Hospital.
Dr Shetty has over 15 years of experience in Interventional Cardiology. He was part of the team that performed the very first Transcatheter Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI) procedure in Western Australia in 2009 and has been involved with the procedure over the past decade. He also performed the first Renal denervation (RDN) in procedure in Western Australia and subsequently trained and proctored a number of other cardiologists in Australia and internationally in this procedure.

Chris is an Interventional Cardiologist with interests in radial (wrist) access for coronary angiography and stent implantation, intravascular ultrasound, optical coherence tomography, and the use of Fractional Flow Reserve (FFR) to guide appropriate stent implantation. Other areas of interest include the management of resistant hypertension, dyslipidemia and lifestyle intervention to decrease cardiovascular risk.

Dr Rajesh Kanna is the founder and director of Global Cardiology and remains actively involved in the day-to-day care of our patients. He specialises in Interventional Cardiology and has a great deal of experience in Radial Access Coronary Angiography. Dr Kanna is responsible for introducing two significant initiatives at Fremantle Hospital: the day case intervention concept and radial access acute angioplasty and stenting procedures.
