The Catholic Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn is a part of the people of God found throughout the world. It is entrusted to the Archbishop as its pastor who sanctifies, teaches and governs the Archdiocese in union with the Pope.
The vision of the Archbishop with his Archdiocese is to bring all things together in the encounter with Jesus Christ. This is not achieved simplistically by applying some formula or new plan.

We at Wesley are blessed with large grounds and many attractive and useful buildings. For years these facilities have been open to community, cultural and sporting groups for their varying activities, and we find it a joy that the premises are almost always in use. Visitors, too, have commented on the sense of vitality they feel as they see a constant stream of people coming and going from these premises.
At Wesley we place our best efforts into providing worship that is nourishing and uplifting, with music and preaching of the highest calibre. We hope all people will leave our worship services encouraged in their journey of faith, and challenged to serve God each and every day.

Divergent Church Canberra (formerly LifeCity Church Canberra) is passionate about being a local expression of Jesus’ kingdom. It is a different kingdom, not one of this world or its practices and principles. Jesus’ kingdom is divergent, it is a kingdom where hate is overcome by love, where truth stands out from falsehood, where faith replaces fear. It is not a kingdom that can be experienced simply within the confines of a Sunday event but something seen in the people of God expressing the character of God in to every day life. At DIVERGENT CHURCH we believe Church is not simply an event you attend but a community of people living out the life of Christ, for his cause, acting as catalysts to bless a world that does not know Jesus.

City Uniting is a diverse community of people who, by word and action, seek to share the good news of the love of God seen in Jesus Christ. City Uniting is a congregation of the Uniting Church in Australia (UCA). We try to be an inclusive community providing a place of nurture and care for people of different cultures, abilities, ages, family structures and sexual orientations. As a congregation of the Uniting Church in Australia we aim in our worship to bring people into the presence of God, through ordered, thoughtful and innovative liturgy and scholarly interpretation of the Bible. We foster a strong commitment to social justice and peace, in both Australia and the rest of the world. As a city church we endeavour to serve the local community as disciples of Christ.

The birth of IFGF Church in Canberra was started in March 2015 with the support given by IFGF Sydney (Clyde and City), IFGF Melbourne, IFGF Singapore in the form of iCare (IFGF Care) as the small group of believers praying and sharing together. On September 12, 2015 we began our first Sunday Service once a month and now by the grace of God IFGF Canberra is running Sunday Services every week. We pray that God will use the Church for His people to grow in faith and expand His Kingdom to become a channel of blessing to many people in this city and beyond. We are called to fulfill the Great Commission, not only to let people know about God and the eternal salvation, but touching hearts, improving lives, and creating second chances. We are here for the people, as a humble servant and wise counsel. We focus on the people, creating impact and changing them for the better.

The Canberra Christian Fellowship is a group of Christians that came together and began holding worship services in 2004. Many of our people grew up in the Methodist Church (and value that heritage) before The Uniting Church in Australia was formed. We began our own fellowship largely as a result of dissatisfaction with the attitudes, practices, beliefs and teaching of much of the leadership of the denomination from which we came. The Canberra Christian Fellowship has been incorporated in the Australian Capital Territory since late 2006.

In the early 1950s the Canberra Seventh Day Adventist Church consisted of 18 charter members meeting in various places. In November 1958 with a membership of around 50, a building was opened and dedicated as the church building (now the church hall). During the 1960s the church membership grew to around 170, and in 1969 the Woden SDA church was formed. In the late 1960s the SDA’s formed a building and finance committee to look into the need for a new church building with meeting and service rooms. “Ken Woolley of Ancher Mortlock and Woolley” The existing late 1950s building which they had been using as a church was to be retained as the church hall.
