Dr Damon Bell received his MB ChB from the University of Otago in 2000. He completed his physician training in Endocrinology (FRACP, 2010) and chemical pathology training (FRCPA, 2009) at Wellington Hospital in New Zealand. He has subsequently gained expertise in both the pathologic and clinical aspects of cardiometabolic genetic diseases including the inherited aspects of lipid, hypertension and diabetic disorders. His research interests focus on optimising the detection and management of familial hypercholesterolaemia and he was awarded a PhD from the University of Western Australia in 2016.
