Chris completed his medical degree at Monash University in 1991. After an internship and residency in Melbourne, he undertook his formal ENT training at the Royal Hobart Hospital, the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, the Royal Melbourne Hospital, and Monash Medical Centre. Having obtained Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2002, Chris moved to the USA. He worked at the University of Iowa to further specialise in the discipline of rhinology; disorders of the nose and sinuses. He completed a twelve month fellowship that involved basic science research and evaluation of the medical and surgical treatment options for patients with chronic sinusitis. This research was presented at international conferences and published in peer reviewed medical journals.

Dr Natalie Sist completed her medical degree, with honours, at Monash University in 2002. She progressed through her initial surgical training at The Alfred Hospital. Natalie then underwent two years of Advanced General Surgery training prior to beginning her training in ENT. In 2012, Natalie completed her training and examinations to obtain her FRACS in Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Natalie’s current public hospital appointment is at Eastern Health. Her special interests include general adult and paediatric ENT, snoring and obstructive sleep apnoea, sinus surgery and otology.

Matthew completed his ENT surgery training in Melbourne and is a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (FRACS). He then undertook expert training in Head and Neck Cancer Surgery in Toronto, Canada.He also completed detailed teaching in Trans-Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) in Philadelphia, USA. As an ENT surgeon, Dr Magarey treats all General Adult and Paediatric ENT problems. In addition, Dr Magarey’s areas of expertise include cancers of the oral cavity (mouth), oropharynx and larynx (throat), sinonasal cavity (nose), cancers of the salivary glands and thyroid surgery. He also treats and operates on the nasal airway and sinus disease. Matthew’s focus as an ENT surgeon is on maintaining function and quality of life for patients he treats, through modern operative techniques and close consultation with talented reconstructive surgeons.
