Sriram Srikrishnan (Sri) is a lawyer at Birman & Ride and works in the Wills and Estates and Litigation teams. Prior to joining Birman & Ride, Sri commenced his legal career at a boutique firm working within the property and planning law practice with a focus on commercial leases. Sri holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws (with Distinction). Before commencing his career in law, Sri conducted interviews and provided legal assistance to people who suffered persecution in their previous countries or suffered family violence. Jeremy commenced with Marks & Sands Lawyers as a Partner in 1994. Prior to moving to Western Australia in 1993 Jeremy was extensively involved in private client work in South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales. Fulfilling a number of management roles within Marks & Sands since 1994 including becoming Managing Partner in 1998, Jeremy currently heads the Family Law Group in Perth as well as continuing his role as Legal Practice Director for Culshaw Miller Lawyers. In 2006, in addition to his role at Marks & Sands, Jeremy became the Legal Practice Director at Shann Family Lawyers and remained in this position until the two firms merged in August 2011. Jeremy is a previous Western Australian Board member of the Hunt & Hunt Legal Group.

Emily Nixon obtained her law degree from Murdoch University and was admitted to practice in July 2005. She commenced her legal career at the commercial law firm, Bennett & Co (which subsequently became Lavan Legal). In 2009, Emily joined the legal team at the Public Trustee of Western Australia. Emily’s experience includes conducting complex Trust and Estate litigation (including Family Provision Claims) in the Supreme Court of Western Australia. She also has considerable experience in the drafting of Wills and other legal documents. Prior to establishing Bespoke Wills and Estates in 2019, Emily founded Jarvis Nixon Legal in 2016 with Marcia Jarvis in Karrinyup, Western Australia.
