Before starting Fantasy Face Painter, I worked on and off for many years as a fairy entertainer for market stalls across Perth. At the start of 2018, I noticed that the market I was working at didn’t have a face painter, and I thought to myself- maybe I should learn to face paint? When my partner mentioned I’d be great at face painting to the market organiser- I was caught by surprise! Especially when she agreed to hire me. Armed with that day’s pay check, I invested in my first set of paint, brushes and glitters, and voilà: Fantasy Face Painter was born. It’s now been 3 years, and I’ve not looked back since. Over the past 2 years, I’ve entered multiple competitions – placing 3rd at the Perth Hair and Beauty Expo, and have collaborated on numerous body painting photoshoots, one of which has been published in ‘Horizont’ magazine.
