I’ve been a chef for more than 20 years and worked in some amazing places, among them as a private chef in Switzerland, Turkey, and Greece. Travel inspires my palate. The world is an amazing and big place and if I could travel to a different destination every time I felt hungry, I would be the happiest woman in the world. That’s how I feel about food. My name is Daniela, a qualified chef and pastry chef! I arrived in Australia in 2002 and I started to work in a very well-known Italian restaurant in Adelaide SA. In 2003 I won the bronze medal at the International Culinary Extravaganza in Perth. Food has always been a big part of my life and my culture. Many of my recipes are from tradition, from grandmother to mother and to me combined with my personal and professional experience. In 2014 I thought of opening a mobile food business and started looking around for that! After 3 years of exhausting ups and downs finally, on the 19th of August 2017, Flavours of Eataly was born!!!! The name of the business was the result of a long day of brainstorming…. possibly helped by a beer or two!!!
