Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Andrology and Male Fertility
I started my career working as a rural GP in Western Australia. That’s when I developed my interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Seeing the joy of parents having a baby inspired me to undertake further training. Specialising in O&G and Fertility has provided me with the opportunity to combine my interests in surgery and medical hormonal work. When I worked with my andrology mentor, I developed a further interest in andrology and male fertility. Listening to women on their fertility journey or with gynaecology concerns allows me to provide the best quality care.

Obstetrics and Gynaecology
The six years I spent in the University of Western Australia’s medical school were filled with a marvellous variety of experiences but one stands above all others. Spending six weeks living onsite at King Edward Memorial hospital, having obstetrics lectures by day and attending deliveries in labour ward by night provided an experience that was unrivalled. The obstetricians I met took pride and found joy in their work. Experiencing the actual moment of birth resulted in unmatched excitement and satisfaction. This episode helped to define my career choice. I decided to become an Obstetrician and completed the six years training at King Edward Memorial Hospital.
Vaginal prolapse, Menopause, General gynaecology, Pelvic pain, Endometriosis
I was attracted to the field of obstetrics for the joy of delivering babies. When I started my obstetrics and gynaecology training, I discovered that I enjoy operating and have a natural level of agility in the field of surgical operating. This is something I have honed to a high-level skill with training and experience. What is more important than being a good surgeon is knowing when to operate — and when not to. I help my patients make the best decisions for how to manage gynaecological conditions — whether by surgery, medical, or conservative measures.
