Verve has been a popular Brisbane dining destination since 1997. Originally located in the basement of the Metro Arts Building in Edward St, Verve relocated during the COVID-19 crisis in 2020, to its current home at Level 1, Hotel Orient, 560 Queen St, Brisbane. In our old home Verve Restaurant & Cider House was well known for its large Italian menu with an outrageous selection of Ciders, Beers and a boutique wine list. While keeping with a lot of our classic menu offerings, The Verve Italian Steakhouse, takes on a new direction, reducing the selection of Italian offerings and introducing some cracking steaks.
Our drinks focus has moved away from Ciders and is now driven much more toward a wine focus.

Donato & Giuseppe Laurito come from a long line of Italian chefs. Their grandfather was a cook in the navy during the war so their love for food transpires for generations. Their history pretty much started the day they were born, their mother invoked their culture and love of food and cooking ever since they were little. In their kitchen everything was always made from scratch full of flavour and fresh ingredients, the majority of which came from their own backyard. They knew from an early age they wanted to be chefs and build on their love for Italian food and cooking.
