Since its humble beginnings in 1986, Firebrand Sourdough Bakery continues to be family owned and operated (currently by siblings – Lilly and Seamus Brown).
We have maintained the integrity of the original baking process by hand-shaping our dough which contains only flour, water and salt. Instead of using commercial yeast, all our bread and pastries utilise our 40+ year old sourdough leaven (wild bacteria made from flour and water) which is fed daily, fermenting for up to 24 hours.
Our products are pure (free from additives and unnecessary ingredients). All our bread is suitable for vegans and are currently kosher certified.
We offer a range of Firebrand homemade baked goods including flourless cakes, chocolate brownies, muffins, biscuits, pastries, pizza scrolls, croissants, granola and festive goods (hot cross buns, christmas cakes and fruit mince pies.
